Valdespino Pedro Ximenez “El Candado” Sherry

El Candado (Spanish translation for “The Padlock”) is a unique sherry produced only with Pedro Ximnez grapes, grown in the Sherry district of Spain. It is the classic Jerez dessert wine.

Tasting Notes:The color is an intense mahogany. There is a deep aroma of dried fruits (raisins, figs) and subtle notes of chocolate and coffee. It is smooth and velvety in the mouth with a long after taste. Serve with desserts, at room temperature or slightly chilled. Also, this is delicious when poured over ice cream.
